ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1.

Only charities recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency and serving the Verdun community will be eligible

2.

Projects meeting needs deemed to be priorities and offering concrete, rapid and lasting benefits to the targeted vulnerable clienteles will be given priority.

3.

Projects submitted must comply with the Foundation’s mission and values.

4.

Any organization using a portion of the funds received for working capital and/or operational needs must be self-supporting. Organizations should not expect an annual renewal for its funded activities.

5.

The allocation of donations and/or grants will take into account the Foundation's annual budget and the number of projects received during the year. In all cases for the current year, no funds granted will exceed $25,000, excluding agreements that have already been signed.

6.

Capital projects should respect sustainable development best practices and comply with environmental requirements.

7.

Applicants must submit a project implementation plan including schedule and budget.

8.

Accountability and reporting are required before final disbursement.

9.

The Fund managers reserve the right to consult the advice of specialists as needed, depending on the nature and size of the project.
