Bouger et Vivre

A first donation was made in July 2020 to “Bouger et Vivre”, a non-profit organization in Verdun promoting the quality of life of seniors with mobility problems or suffering from chronic disease. Specialized equipment was donated to help in physical therapy for this clientele in a financially accessible, suitable and secure environment.

Champlain and Manoir-de-Verdun Foundation

A donation was made in December 2020 to the Champlain and Manoir-de-Verdun Foundation. This grant made it possible to replace furniture that had deteriorated particularly due to the health measures imposed by Covid-19. The new furniture now meets the daily disinfection standards required by the Ministry of Health and Social Services.

Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Verdun

In April 2021, the Board of Directors approved a financial contribution to a project presented by the “Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Verdun - Les Petits Renards”, a registered charity and certified member of the Dr Julien Foundation network. Present in the Verdun community since December 2011, the center helps children and adolescents living in vulnerable situations, as well as their families.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation

Move, motivate, inspire — that's the goal of the Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation. The organization’s mission is to encourage the development of physical activity and creativity in young people by organizing turnkey events that promote a balance between sports, arts and school. Since October 2021, the REGAIN Foundation has partnered with the Laurent Duvernay-Tardif Foundation to offer multi-sport and art workshops to more than 100 young people in three Verdun schools: Lévis-Sauvé, Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs and Notre-Dame-De-La-Paix.

Fondation Santé Urbaine

Formed by the merger of the Fondation de l'Hôpital de Verdun and the Fondation de la Santé et Mieux-être de Jeanne-Mance, the Fondation Santé Urbaine's mission is to improve the physical and mental health of residents in the southwest of Montreal. Since December 2021, the REGAIN Foundation has been participating in Branché santé, a program that provides the services of a nutritionist to help improve the lifestyle habits of children and parents of children aged 6 to 17 who are at risk of becoming overweight or developing other health problems.

La Maison du Réconfort

For more than 40 years, La Maison du Réconfort’s mission has been to provide a safe, secure environment for women — with or without children — who are victims of domestic violence. The non-profit organization’s services are free, professional and confidential. In January 2022, the REGAIN Foundation entered into a donation agreement with La Maison du Réconfort that enabled the organization to use an office space for the development of various domestic violence awareness and prevention activities, as well as programming that promotes egalitarian relationships between men, women and all individuals who make up our society.

PABEMSOM
Parents et amis du bien-être mental du sud-ouest de Montréal

PABEMSOM is an organization located on De l'Église Street in Verdun. For several decades, the organization has helped individuals of families, friends and associates affected by a mental health illness or problem to preserve their own mental health. The aim is to bring people together and offer them communication tools to share their experiences, recharge their batteries and regain control of their lives. In May 2023, the REGAIN Foundation worked with PABEMSOM to help make their activities accessible to the organization’s older members and members with disabilities.
